Privacy Policy
AskALLE™ is built to help families, not to collect data about them. This page explains what information the askalle.com website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective November 3, 2026.
The short version
- We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic visit statistics.
- We never sell personal data.
- We use your information to answer you and to improve AskALLE.
- Please don’t send medical records, Social Security numbers or other private details through our forms.
- Questions or requests: askalle@askalle.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use a form on this site, like Contact or Ask Alle, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, the topic you choose, your preferred language, who your question is about, and your message.
- Updates sign-up. If you sign up for updates, we receive your email address.
- Basic visit statistics. Our host, WordPress.com, and its Jetpack tools record general information about visits, like which pages are viewed, the type of browser and device, the website that sent you here, and approximate location based on your internet address. We use this only in summary form, to see what is helpful.
- Spam protection. Form messages are checked for spam by Akismet, a WordPress.com service.
How we use it
- To read and answer your message.
- To send updates you asked for. Every update has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages help people, and to fix what doesn’t.
- To keep the site safe and free of spam.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run the site and our email, like WordPress.com (Automattic) for hosting, forms, statistics and updates, and Google for email. They handle information under their own privacy policies.
- When the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
Cookies and outside links
WordPress.com may use cookies to run the site and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
We link to many outside websites, like state agencies and nonprofits. When you leave askalle.com, that website’s privacy policy applies. If you click the Facebook share button, Facebook receives information under its own policy.
The AskALLE app
The AskALLE app works differently. Notes, binders and roadmaps you create in the app are saved in your own browser on your device. The app preview is hosted on Claude by Anthropic, and when you ask Alle a question, it is processed by Anthropic’s AI service under Anthropic’s privacy policy. The app will have its own privacy notice when it launches at its permanent address.
Children
This website is for adults: parents, caregivers, self-advocates and professionals. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- Ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing askalle@askalle.com.
- Unsubscribe from updates at any time with the link in any update.
- We keep form messages only as long as we need them to help you, then delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
